Below is a message from our VP of Sales, Michael Mores, addressed to researchers attending the SNEAP Conference 2025:
Several years ago, we had a single ended 2.5 MV positive accelerator going to a company in China that was ultimately stopped by the Department of Commerce because of export restrictions. This system, the CARBS Accelerator System, created over 100 uA of H+ and contained the accelerator, 90 degree magnet, and a small beamline. It has been in storage for several years, waiting for a new home. This is optimized for PIXE work and can be coupled with other IBA techniques.
As per several requests, we confirmed that we can convert this to an electron system for ~200 uA of beam.
