NEC provides electrostatic and magnetic X and Y steerers for correcting the direction of the ion beams in a beamline. Electrostatic steerers may be integrated into vacuum pump tee or other housings. All necessary power supplies and control cables are included.

Electrostatic analyzers greatly reduce the energy dispersion of the injected beam. This eliminates possible interference from the high and low energy 'tails' of the abundant beams.
